Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation is the debut album by Welsh rock band Funeral for a Friend. The album was released on 20 October 2003 through Atlantic Records. Produced by Colin Richardson and co-produced by the band. The album features brand-new versions of the songs "Red is the New Black", "Juno" (renamed "Juneau") and "Summer's Dead and Buried" (renamed "Waking Up"). The included versions of "She Drove Me To Daytime Television" and "Escape Artists Never Die" are from the Four Ways To Scream Your Name EP, although the former has a count-in that didn't appear on the EP. Also, both are slightly louder than their original release. The album made #12 on the UK charts and went Gold.
The cover of the album as well as its subsequent singles is based on the two paintings "The Lovers"[6][7] by the Belgian surrealist artist René Magritte.
